ihat moment when you're happily playing with your toddler in his room then appears the Devil Child!
Everything was his, no one could touch anything in the room without "NO THAT'S MINE!" being screamed at them. Oh the joys of the terrible two's.
I guess this is quite common? Do you have a temperamental child at home?
Rear-Facing car seats have been a topic of discussion for many years but has only recently become more well known in the UK. Scandinavian children are rear facing until they are 4–5 years old (25kg or 55lbs), which has resulted in a much lower number of children injured or dead in car accidents compared with other countries, for example the UK.
This week hasn't been a very ordinary one. On Wednesday we went to my Auntie's wedding where along with my two cousins I was a bridesmaid. This was no ordinary wedding, it was extra special as it was one of my Auntie's last wishes.
Dexter is now 27 months old and last month saw the end of our breastfeeding journey. I have to say it was incredibly eventful with lots of ups and downs but I am already missing our closeness. He's always been a very affectionate child often asking for kisses and cuddles but nothing quite beats a sleepy breastfed baby cuddle.
Pregnancy, at the moment, is being completely upstaged by ongoing accommodation issues. Our house renovations are going to take much longer than anticipated but that's a story for another post. At the end of the day we have a roof over our heads and we're safe - that's all that matters.
This week marks the beginning of week 30 and wow am I getting big fast. I don't ever remember getting this big with Dexter until the very end and there is still nearly 11 weeks left!
approx 15 inches from head to heel
So far I have gained 9lb
Symptoms this week:
- Increased toilet trips
- Increased sensitivity to movement (less room for Jr)
- Belly button is popping out
- I've been feeling particularly pregnant this week, I know that sounds daft but it all seems to be catching up with me. I have been running around like normal, sleeping on a mattress on the floor (I'll write a post about the reasons why shortly) This week I have felt my heart working harder, my brain working harder trying to remember things and my whole body just feels tired.
What's happening this week?
- Glucose tolerance test
- Another week of working - Boo!
Hello, my name is Kelly. I am a twenty something year old Wife to Sam and Mummy to two year old Dexter. We're currently expecting baby number two, due in 11 weeks time. The reason for this blog is really simple, I am a bit of a hoarder when it comes to memorabilia (just ask my hubby - it's one of his pet peves haha) and I love making new memories with friends and family, so what better way is there to condense everything but make sure nothing is forgotten? - set up a little corner of the World Wide Web that's just for me & mine.
My name is Kelly & I am the author of Life as Mrs P. Thank you for stopping by & I hope you've enjoyed reading my blog. If you have any questions or comments then please do not hesitate to contact me xx
